Katia is swept back in time and meets Lord Landon who looks just like her friend Tony. Will she be able to find her way back or is Lord Landon enough to make her stay?I really enjoyed this book and it gave a realistic look at how you would feel if you were sent back to the past. Katia needs to feel useful and finds it really hard to find her place in that time. It is a parallel world so the differences were interesting and of course added to Katia's confusion. Landon was so sweet , patient, and kind. I have to be honest and say at a point I wanted to shake Katia and tell her to get her act together lol.
This is a sweet, clean, romance and I would love to see a sequel or perhaps the story of Rose and Tony

The Test Of Time eBook Nicole Zoltack Reviews
The plot is very good and I gave my review a full four stars. However, the Author moved very quickly and at times, I had to re-review previous chapters. Secondly, the Author came to closure very quickly. It would have been better if the Author had allowed more input from the Characters.
Thank you for your attention.
Loved loved loved it. Stayed up late nights reading. Great book. Great intro to time travel literature. I only hope to find another like it. Highly recommend this read.
I have never read a book with so many grammatical and spelling errors. It was extremely frustrating, but I did finish the book. I won't waste my time with any other books by this author.....she should be looking for a new proof reader/editor.
The Test of Time was an interesting time travel story that had me questioning what the main character was going to decide until the end! (Also I was shocked when one of the nice characters ended up not being nice at all!) Fun read.
I enjoyed most parts of the book. It would have gotten FIVE 🌟🌟 had it not gotten stupid. And yes that's what I thought about 3 or 4 chapters that I feel truly did not belong. It felt like a drawn out movie that just went on and on making it 3+ hours long. But you suck it up cause you want to see how it ends. Yes it had a happy ending but, the road to it was long.
This was a great twist on the normal time travel romances. I enjoyed it a lot. Unfortunately there were a few paradoxes that pulled me out of the story. Overall I have to say, it was a pleasant surprise to read this book.
***** spoiler *****
One thing I found difficult to believe was that only descendants of the original witch could see/hear the time portals due to a curse. It reeks of convenience and a lot of suppositions.
Two, Sage is transported also and she's not a descendant of the original cursed woman. The Willgrave witch didn't know why she could.
Three, of the 4 times/worlds Katia traveled to, 1963 and 2165 were the most unusual and interesting. They were not explored nor explained much, but were the most interesting. It felt like I couldn't tell if these two years were a natural progression from what changes that were in the timeline from 1815 or if each year was in another alternate universe.
I really did love that the author tried these new ideas in a time travel romance. Its a great idea.
Ok, I'm a fan of time travel romances but this one got really weird towards the end.
The whole premise, sorry, spoiler, is about a girl, Katia who goes to England and falls through a portal into 1816ish. She, of course, meets the man of her dreams; literally. All seems to be going along fine until she falls back through a portal and is transported to the future in 1965. This is when it really starts to go weird. First of all, there were no cell phones in 1965, and there were no laptops. For the author to even put that in the story was very poor research, but who doesn't know that fact? Anyway, then she goes through another portal into the future of 2165 and the story gets even more strange. By this time of the book, I'm thinking I should just give this one up and put it in the "it's even too weird for me to finish pile", but I decide to venture on. The end finally turns out how it should have, but the story got so stupid for a number of chapters, it was kind of ruined by then.
I have to agree with another reviewer regarding the editing. There were a number of places where the grammar was incorrect. Didn't anyone care to use any type of grammar check before publishing? Guess not.
This could have been a 3 or 4 star story if the story wouldn't have gone off the tracks towards the end. Plus, the spelling and grammar errors really started to annoy me after a while.
